Tomorrow (Wednesday) is Women's Day in South Africa, so it is a day off to relax. Well, not for my sister and I, we will start sort of spring cleaning. But still it is a public holiday. And wouldn't a male friend of mine have the audacity to say to me today that Women have it easy. Really? Really? So, I politely told him, until a man has experienced what we women go through once a month till menopause, he does not know difficult! Plus going through peri-menopause and menopause! I have never had children but from my Mom and other women I understand that giving birth to a child is a pain like no other! Then try having your doctor ask you, "do you know how many hormones there are in a women's body? How am I supposed to know which one is causing your imbalance?" Then looking that doctor in the eyes and saying, "Well if you're the doctor and you don't know, then how am I supposed to!" Never mind that as women we are also nurses, psychologists, chefs, cleaners and all that just in our own homes! I asked my friend if he would like to tell me again that women have it easy. He asked me if he could pour me a cup of coffee. I would say I got my point across. Too all the women out there, happy being a woman. To all the men out there, appreciate us. We're not perfect but wouldn't the world be a dull place without us! Photo is of some pretty flowers in my home.

So the women have it easy! Interesting. I would like to see a man doing for one full month all what a woman do during one day and going to work too. Good luck to him.

Actually we all should have women's month...Internationally declared. In that month, women should not have to do anything. Any man making women do anything should be seriously punished. Then only they would realize our value.

I can't believe he thinks women have it easy!!!! Who does he think does the cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing, errands, grocery shopping, menu planning, childbearing, child raising, etc. while even working? Let him try it for one week and see how he manages! Grrrr......

I wonder how long some husbands would last if they were forced to switch places with their wives for a year.

very pretty flowers. last night too, my sister, out of nowhere, said in a loud voice," that is the problem with men, they don't feel the pain we go through when we are in labor, or even when we have our monthly discomfort."; and yes, she and i are both operated on to remove our internal reproductive organs.

It's definitely not easy. Men assume it's easy but I bet if they had to give birth they would change their mind
