Have you seen a mirror pool?

While in Bordeaux, @topffer took us to the ‘mirror pool’. I think it might be the biggest in Europe but perhaps topffer will correct me if I’m wrong. It was a first for us and very interesting. As it was such a hot day there were many people getting a little relief from the heat by paddling around.
When we passed that way again later, there was a mist being pushed up from the surface but of course that didn’t allow the ‘mirror’ effect to be so evident.

I'm not sure I've sen a mirror pool, but reflective ponds are naturally occurring.

I've not seen one in person, I've seen the reflective pool for our Washington Memorial in pictures and movies.

Quite interesting. Is it a shallow pool?

Yes, it's very shallow indeed. Only a very few inches.

The effect is quite interesting. I personally like infiniti pools..that seem to go on forever, they are awesome.

Yes, they are incredible too. I'm not quite sure how they create them.

I noticed the people are all barefoot, is that the only way one is allowed to walk on it?
