Hissy Fit

What a bad boy Mr. Doodles has been to his grammy! He ventured into the woods under a fallen tree, and stuck his face into a rotted log. He refused to come out, so Grammy used a big stick to navigate him. That big stick was hissed at. That big stick was attacked with sharp, long claws, multiple times. That stick could have been Grammy's foot or hand. Grammy hissed back. Doodles hissed in return. Grammy told Doodles he was a bad boy. Grammy told Doodles to get in the house. Doodles obeyed instantly. Doodles sulked next to his grampy for hours.

Oh naughty Doodles. Thank goodness he finally listened to you! Grampy was good for Doodles ego. That was quite a battle my dear friend, our babies sure like to test us.

@DianneN as long as he was remorseful! I am so relieved he didn't hurt you. And since he is being a soft, smush face again, please give him a hug from me with a whisper to him to be more gentle with you.

I couldn't believe the nerve of him! He could have shredded my leg or arm. But he was remorseful and is being a soft, smushface again. Thank goodness!

Poor Doodles. I feel so sorry for him. Is he in kitty prison like my doggy is in doggy prison? I hope you will let Mr Doodles go out and play again in the woods and have fun in the tree.

@DianneN Good for you Grammy. There are times we just have to put our food down and give them a good talking too. they respond well to this and feel so bad for misbehaving.

@poehere That they do! They're no fools! He knew what he was doing and was punished accordingly. He begged my forgiveness and was very, very sorry. lol

Uh oh, that's not good. Cats hold grudges and by the look of those claws I'd hate to be on the other end of his grudge.

Oh my that was a tussle between you two. Our cat is pretty tame, but we can NOT play with him with our hands. We have to use a toy. His claws are long and sharp and he was not a house cat as a kitten. He has no idea of being gentle with humans even though he wants to play.

You are very smart and wise! They don't know how those claws hurt. By accident, Doodles slashed the vein on my son's hand. Holy moly!!! My arm is full of claw punctures, all from kneading me with love.

Lol. I have a lazy cat this morning who has taken over the sofa. Freya the Catalog Cat would send her own note to Mr Doodles but she is feeling too lazy.
