I'm at the hospital killing time. Hubs is getting a routine colonoscopy.
Today is my parents' wedding anniversary and wish they were here to celebrate.
Today, New York City began the school year. Who would have thought I'd have a 3rd and 4th grader just last week?
Hope your day is as sunny and beautiful as it is here.

Time does fly! I'm in the waiting room now, waiting and waiting. The doctor told me to expect him ready for me. I still have another 30 minutes or so of waiting. Then out to our favorite "after colonoscopy restaurant" for serious replenishment. lol
Enjoy your beautiful day and weather!!!

@TiarasOceanView For some reason, it's always mobbed. I think the customers have all just come out of a fast.

Thank you! We were to have had a second and fourth grader, but things suddenly changed last week. Actually, it could have been a 2nd and 5th grader or a 3rd and 5th grader. I'm so confused. Enjoy every moment with those babies of yours!!!!

That's one routine I'm glad that I don't have at this time. I will try to avoid it.
Here it is raining so please send us some sun.

@DianneN We often get your weather a day or two later. So tomorrow we'll have some sun. So how did things go at the other end?

Hope all goes well for your husband . . . Hubby went through that earlier in the summer as well. Awww, the kids look so grown up here . . .hope they have a wonderful school year (they are so lucky they still start in September!). It's cooled down here, relatively speaking, at least it's not triple digits anymore. Enjoy your beautiful day!!

@DianneN sorry. Yes, I remember you mentioning he liked his hair long. Perhaps he'll become a rocker. Sister and brother look very much alike.

Cute kids! We had a bit of badly needed rain overnight and hope there is more coming to help with the smoke and fires.

Hope all goes well with your hubbys colonoscopy. My son had one last year and said it was the best sleep he's had since his kids were born

They are so adorable and I love his hair. Here on the islands all boys have very long hair. At times the teachers at school complain of this to the parents. Here people don't care. If the child wants his hair long they leave it. I have seen some small boys here that have hair way down their backs. Then on the flip side there are kids that their dad shaves their head like a military cut and it looks so bad. I feel so sorry for them. I always said if I had a boy he could have his hair as long as he wanted. I think it looks so good. Both of my brother had long hair.

I will say a prayer for your husband, today. The kids look very happy, starting school on their first day back!:)I always use those times waiting in the hospital, to leaf through a magazine. I seldom do this at any other time, but really love it!

@DianneN I am glad your back home, where you feel comfortable. You haven't been feeling that great yourself, yet your busy taking care of your husband. I'd expect nothing less, from you!

@kobesbuddy Thanks so much. I'm still dizzy, but much less than last week. It does feel good to be home. I think I'm going to go to sleep soon. It's an hour later here than you, I think.
