Hubby has to upload a new photo for a new name badge with his work so I took some shots this morning. I chose this one as being the best. Not too bad for a point and shoot camera. He still works full time, and will be 72 in three months.

That is great that he still works at his age. I keep thinking I would like to retire in a few years when I turn 65. Would like to work part time in 2 years when I turn 62. However, I am not sure I would like the boredom that can come along with it.

@GardenGerty I believe that Little Miss will be reunited with her mother in the near future. So, I will not be as busy. However, if I were retired, I could go visit her often and have her to our house for overnights.

@ElusiveButterfly I am glad the prospect is good for family preservation. That would be awesome to go back to being "grandma" only.

I tried being "retired" when my older sister lived with me and then when we moved. My sister drove me bats, and then when we moved I was very isolated. I could retire now, as I have a vehicle, and some of my friends have retired and I have made some new ones. My body would like to retire. Little miss would keep you from being bored.

He tried being "retired" for a year or two, but you could tell it depressed him. He got this job when they came looking for me.

@BarBaraPrz It can be interesting. It was only supposed to be part time, but the job kept on growing.

They think maybe a virus damaged his heart. He has very good results on all other health measures.

For Bob, work is a social event and not too hard. The week he had to be off after his stroke he was very bored.

@GardenGerty My husband still work every day, but not all the day as he did in the past. He likes to build sites for his clients.

OMG! Time flies. I remember reading his posts on Bubblews, how he met you etc... It was so romantic the way you two meet each other long time ago.

He does not do a lot of online stuff. He has a profile here, but he is more into other things.

Other than the little things like strokes and prostate cancer, he is very healthy. We are working on those others.

I like that he is still interested in being active and not just sitting around. I think it helps keep him young.
