What is your favorite way to eat potato? / myLot

Potato is a nice vegetable and you can cook it by many methods. I think my favorite way to eat the potato is to have the potato chips

In fact I tried to make it by myself but it is not as well as I bought it.

I just boil potato and eat it with salt, mayo, butter, cheese, ham, bacon or any combination. I do this if I do not feel like eating our staple rice, I treat potato like my rice sometimes.

@youless good for your son, potato is very healthy plus the spices in curry like turmeric has many benefits. One thing with fried and chips is sometimes it has too much oil so we use paper towel, but it is no real issue if he is young and active, me and the kids also love to make French fries. We also have sweet potatos.

I like them oven roasted or sauteed in a pan, that is the best way to have potatoes, chips are full of salt and fats, not a good thing to eat.

@youless I don't bake them with butter. I bake the potato, slice it open and put in a slice of butter. Very good.

@youless Nah I like to leave the skin on if I'm mashing them up! It adds a little taste and texture to the mash!! Obviously I scrub them first though

I have never made my own potato chips. I like to boil potatoes or use the crock pot with them in chicken and eat them that way after they are done. I have not had mashed potatoes and have thought about making them but do not get around to it.
