Not a lot, but a little.
I finally (after almost two years of saying I ought to do it) asked the Boss for a raise yesterday.
This month is ten years I have been working for him, and my last raise was 6 or 7 years ago.
So I got another dollar per hour raise effective on my check next week. 
I only work part-time, but it translates to roughly an extra thousand per year.
Scar sez that's a lot of tuna. 
Sometimes Mondays ain't so bad.

@JolietJake That's one bad day, but he wouldn't be in business if he wasn't making money too. Think of all that you've saved him over the years.

It didn't help any that he was getting phone calls yesterday morning from customers complaining UPS had made late deliveries, etc...he probably lost $1,000 over the weekend because of it

Congrats brother, people would be surprised how much an extra hundred a month helps or close to it. Seems to be the only way we can do it these days. Asking that is, and have to be very careful when you do it.

@JolietJake That would be a little difficult at this stage, but imagine if you did... you'd have to at least double your income, wouldn't you?

Congratulations! Actually you have worked for your boss for quite a long time. And he shall be kind to raise your income every year without telling him. It really takes quite a long time to have a raise. As today everything's price just gets higher and higher.

The first two raises I got, I didn't ask for, so I really didn't want to ask this time, but I kept waiting for him to do it without me saying anything and it wasn't happening, so...
