Well, maybe not permanently, but at least for a little while. The night before last the worst massing shooting to ever happen in the US happened in Las Vegas, Nevada. There are so far, 59 dead and over 500 injured. It was all done by one man, 64-year-old Stephen Craig Paddock. They found him in his hotel room dead from a shot gun wound. No one knows why he opened fire on this group of thousands peacefully enjoying a country music show. Unfortunately this behavior seems all to common these days. More people are out there shooting and killing people they don't know for reason no one knows. I am feeling the need to get away from the madness that is occurring, apparently all over the world. So, I repeat, stop the world I want to get off. How are you feeling about all of these happenings? Are the affecting you? I worry for our future.

I know that ISIS claimed it was a terrorist attack, may be it's true, because Las Vegas is surely seen as a bad city from those fanatics. I would not be surprised if they wanted to attack the Sin City.

@HazySue I wonder how they can say something like this so quickly. They do not want to scare the tourists fearing people will not come to the United States.

I have expected Vegas to be hit for years, as a soft target with so many tourists, but I do not believe that anyone was behind this but the crazy man who did the shooting.

I heard that they believed that ISIS did not have anything to do with it. You never know.

I woke up this morning feeling like "I don't want to be an adult today." I posted this song on my Facebook wall yesterday, because this is how I feel right now: I've had enough of people and this sick society.
From their debutalbum - " Land Of Opportunity "

I feel horrible. Like I do each time I hear of one of these shootings. Why kill complete strangers? What lead up to this? I am in shock AGAIN.

It's so unbelievable that anyone would do such a thing, but it's also a sign of the times, so I might just join you.

I worry greatly for my sons and their future because of all this evil. Sadly I don't think it will ever stop. Humans have been killing each other since the beginning of time. I heard on the news yesterday that the United States averages 16 mass shootings a year. So very much unacceptable and horrendous.

It's an awful thing to have to worry about your children and grandchildren growing up in this world. It has become out of control.

The funny thing is that we are all affected to some degree by events such as this. Four beautiful young Canadians were killed.

I wish we knew why he did this. It wouldn't make it better but it would be good to know. I will never understand someone doing this.

It's sad. I went to Las Vegas last year. We (my fiance and I) didn't stay in the same hotel. I do want to go back to Las Vegas someday.
