My husband and kids were fishing earlier today, minding their own business when a police officer runs into our backyard. He asked my husband if he saw a guy running behind the pond. My husband said he did and told him where he went.
The officer was on foot so he asked my husband to ride him around to look where they spotted him.
My husband was so excited! He said in the truck he sang bad boys bad boys whatcha gonna do...Lol. The officer smiled as my husband sang it.
The helicopters flew overhead for quite a while looking for the guy as well. He stole someone's vehicle and led the police on a chase, ditched the car and ran on foot. The officer was exhausted by the time he got to our house apparently which is why he asked for a ride.
They had the dogs sniffing everywhere too. It was pretty crazy here today out of nowhere.
Unfortunately my husband and the officer were unsuccessful and we don't know if they ever found him. Hopefully they did, it's quite unsettling knowing he's on the loose... They only found out after that he has a weapon on him or I dont think they would have included my husband.

Wow who knew what this day would bring..
Your husband had some fun then but too bad they did not find the guy.
Yes scary to know he is still on the loose that guy.

Wow, that is a crazy afternoon indeed. I hope they do catch the culprit. Glad that your hubby wasn't harmed in the pursuit too. Who knows what could have happened.

@Courtlynn Oh she's a sweet baby when someone is invited and she loves women. Males, they have to be invited inside by one of us or yeah...

Gosh, this is quite an ordeal, an armed criminal at large! I'm surprised the officer included your husband, with that man carrying a weapon!:(

@kobesbuddy Yeah, they didn't know about the weapon until after apparently. Otherwise I don't think they would have.

Wow, yeah, I doubt they would have included Johnny if they had known he was armed. It would make me very cautious for a while as well.

Sounds exciting..one time when I was going to Costco I saw a guy running down a sloped hill in an area where you don't usually see people. Not sure if someone was chasing him or not..maybe..turns out he had just stolen some jewlery from a display case there. The police car was parked in front of the store. I think maybe they did catch him..this was a while back.

@infatuatedbby Yeah, it was crazy. It's not close to our house that it happened-they were on the chase for a while and the guy ran toward the back of our neighborhood.

Oh my goodness! From peacefully fishing to all that happening! Scary they didn't know the guy had a weapon on him. I am happy your hubby helped a bit but stayed safe @LovingMyBabies .
