In the past I never thought they looked alike. However, after seeing some photos of Leonardo DiCaprio and Lenin. Somewhat I think they look alike to each other. I think he is qualified to have this cast. Besides, Leonardo DiCaprio is a good actor and he shall handle different kinds of characters.

I don't think they go on how the actor looks. They need to see if the actor is versatile to play that role or not.

I would give him a chance and say that he can do it
If he cannot do a good role at least he will have tried.
He has done other roles very well and he is one of my favourite actors too.

Perhaps there is a little resemblance but that's not important as hair and makeup people will make him look like Lenin. I think if he were to play that role he would definitely pull it off. He's super talented and he really gets deep into the characters that he plays.

@youless Yes. Talent is more important because makeup people can do wonders and make a person closely resemble someone else.
