Honey Is Good For Us

Instead of the surge of energy and then crash that regular sugar gives us honey does a slow and even burn. Honey contains a enzyme called glucose oxidase and when exposed to oxygen it produces hydrogen peroxide. This strong acid dissolves the bacteria on thick cell walls. This is one reason honey is a powerful fighter in supporting the immune system and healing wounds. Honey detoxifies your body of harmful toxins and pollutants, tunes up the stomach, brain, skin, eyes, lungs and heart, controls the cancer causing free radicals and stops damage to cells. Honey is good for us.

@celticeagle I know an Oregon lady whose latest project is raising Mason bees. She's carefully figuring how to keep the bees alive through the winter right now.

When I have cough, I take a spoonful of honey with garlic. I also put some on my lemon water and ginger brew.

It sure is.especially organic honey from local source. I've had drs and friends tell me about local honey being useful to help build up resistance to allergies from local fauna etc.

@celticeagle We do! I have a strip of land that we purposely leave undistributed and planted some fruit trees/ wild flowers to help provide them natural shelter/food.
