Or the Internet breaks...or myLot closes...or I become paralyzed. And that is why I quote guidelines to people at times. That is why I will report things. Yes, I am protective of this site. I have a reason to be. I want it to be around for years and years to come. I'm not one of those that try to get every penny from a site I can and don't really care about the future of the site. I'm in it for the long run. So yes, when I see plagiarists or cheaters or people trying to 'game the system' I get mad. Every one of us is responsible for the welfare of this site. So yeah...it is my business what other people do here. It's your business too. For me, myLot is not just 'another site'. It is my home. And I do what I can to protect my home. even though i'm a slow earner, even in the old mylot, i still care enough to flag anything i come across as questionable so admin can check it out and decide what to do with it. since this new mylot came back and knowing how much some are earning here compared to the old mylot, part of me keeps wondering if the site is earning enough.

@hereandthere Same here. I was concerned when they raised them, because they basically doubled it, but that was 2 years ago now in October and all seems to be well. I think if anything happened, they might lower the rates back to what they were originally before deciding to close.

I will report obvious violations. I try to abide by the guidelines...mostly I'm not controversial....occasionally I'm confrontational...today I am a mouse...sneaking in and out.

Having been on a poorly-run site (B) I report because I like it here and I don't want to see it slowly trashed-which is what a lot attempt to do when they refuse to follow the guidelines. 11 years is a long time, you're like our Deputy Mayor here aren't you?

It is those things that keep this site as great as it is. Everybody should do their part so that this site can continuse to be a great place that it is. You are a huge asset to this group.

The same is my opinion...too...

When compared to all other sites, mylot is the best for me... As you said, money is not the main thing for me... it's secondary

The main thing for me is to interact with people all over the world and to develop my English skills.... That's why, I chose this site. Mylot rocks...

The pennies are nice and I would not turn them down, but the interaction and relationships are the key. Nothing has ever been as fun as myLot and I have been a few dozen other places, and watched them fold.

Good to know that you truely care mylot. I hope everyone does. Though, I understand the need of others to earn and they consider this site as one of their resources, that would be enough reason to reciprocate, to take are of this site to live longer. Whatever maybe the intention of all people here, we should always be responsible enough while we are here as an adult.

I am glad you are patrolling to keep the site clean. I joined only two years ago, but I love this site and I want that it continues. Some people continue to move searching for a site that pays big money without they need to do anything. I wonder how they think a site like this will continue to live.
