I just watched this movie on TCM. I remember when it first came out. I was in my early teens and my mom took my friend and I to see it in Pocatello when I lived there. What a sad movie. Olivia and Joseph did a good job of being the bad or horrible. Bette did her usual.

This was a good one. Ideal to watch on a double feature with Whatever Happened to Baby Jane.

Such a great crime mystery beautifully acted by Betty Davis as Charlotte. Olivia de Havilland was an excellent replacement for Joan Crawford who quit during filming claiming an illness. Agnes Morehead also known for her role on the TV show "Bewitched" received a Golden Globe for Best Sporting Actress in the film. Terrific movie!

My sister and I saw it at the movies, in fact we sat through it twice. I've rewatched it since then, but it's been awhile. About time for another viewing!

I have never seen the movie you mentioned but if it a classic movie I will see it when it gets on television.
