Sitting For A Minute

I plan to sit down for a few minutes, well an hour to watch NCIS. I have been on the go all day.
The doctor called and told me to go to diabetes class, I already told him I know how to eat and cook I am just being lazy, plus I like candy and chips. So I was good shopping and did not buy any sweets today, just veggies and fruits along with the tofu and Quorn meatless chicken strips.
How is your health? Got chewed out by the doc lately?

My downfall is food with sodium, which makes my BP go up. My blood glucose is a lot better now.

I have a doctors appointment next week.
Hubby and I will be watching an episode or two of NCIS when he gets in from the barn.

@andriaperry we managed to watch two episodes....this morning I will return the DVD to the library and get out the next DVD ...we are well on our way through season 12.

@andriaperry Oh never knew you had cancer, glad you are alright, you are right? I just get so sick of no answers from them, so turned to my herbs again.

No not really. I had cancer, had surgery and did not go back to a doctor for 5 years.

I came down with diabetes back in 2007, Tony has it now since this cancer treatment. Ither than this I am in good health. I used to have it under control till a couple years ago, I decided I wanted to have what I cant have.

I also have been eating bad lately, I love junk food but will probably give some of it up after the holidays. I don't want to become diabetic -- my mom is and she's bad about how she eats too.

I am doing it now, I cant put it off so I will have my one day and get back on the health wagaon.

I have been very lucky my whole life in that I am a healthy person, however I have a bad back that the docs want to do surgery on. No way that's happening. I have been in a lot of pain with my back the past month or so it's getting very very old.

@andriaperry Yup I started to see one last week and have gone 4 times already and twice more this week yet. It seems to be helping for which I am grateful.

Not chewed out lately. We shall see what happens in January. I am trying some gradual improvements that I can squeeze into my work day. The antibiotics and the cold have really taken a toll on me.

Haven't been to the doctor lately but haven't been eating too healthy either.

Me and the doc has been watching Tonys BP because he has not needed meds for a year but lately its high. I put him back on the medication and now he is better. If its not one thing with Tony its another.

The last time i went to the doctor was years ago. I was bitten by our dog. After the treatments, i didn't go back to my doctor again for my check up because it would be another expense for us

I have to see my Doctor at the VA on Jan 2. I'm sure she will have a few choice words for me.
