Truly a sweet treat

I knew that my Dillons (Kroger) store had Marie Callendar fruit pies on sale this week. We were going to get our favorite, Razzleberry.
We were walking up to the diaplay and an employee pointed out that if you bought a pie you could select a Kroger Deluxe Ice Cream for free. How delicious!
To go with our Razzleberry pie we chose black walnut ice cream. I am always glad to take that kind of offer.

Do you have Kroger stores? It might be Gerbes where you are, or some other name. Ours are Dillons stores.

Razzleberry is raspberry and blackberry. I thought about vanilla but we had some vanilla at home. I have seen others put vanilla ice cream in coffee.

For some reason I only like it in winter @GardenGerty usually it's too sweet for me.

Have not heard of them and just by the way you are telling us they sound really wonderful and with that Ice Cream also.

Marie Callendar is a brand that seems to be popular in the Midwest of the United States. Razzleberry has raspberries and black berries in it.

Hubby will have most of it by himself. I have been having too much sugar. We had a pie earlier this week at home, and then tons of goodies at work. Too much for me, so I will try to do better.

Of all fruit pies, we only have pineapple, coconut, apple and mango pies here in my country. I wonder how a Razzleberry pie tastes like.
