This will be my last chance to be on here for the rest of this year, so I'm taking this chance to wish you all a very Merry Christmas from down here in summertime New Zealand. I've chosen this image as for me it signifies New Zealand at this time of the year, when many New Zealanders are off on their annual summer holidays. I know you'll all be celebrating Christmas in your own different ways, many of you on a cold winter day. Here we're having a small family Christmas lunch, consisting of cold meats and summer salads. It's more about being together than spending lots of time and money. So, have a great Christmas everyone and I'll catch up with you all again next year.

Merry Christmas Val. It is summer here too and there is a too hot wave. I should go for the last presents but I will wait until the last moment. For the time being, I am making jams to give out for everyone.
