Fresh Hot Bread - What's Your Preference Here ?

While I know some of you can or do not eat bread, to me there is nothing like a fresh loaf bread out of the oven .
We don't make it ourselves ( do you ? ) , but the odd time I walk down to the bakery and buy a fresh , hot loaf.
I try to stay away from all white breads , But I do like a sourdough or French Loaf occasionally , and white bread is good for French Toast ! ) .
I do enjoy most Rye breads and whole wheat blends and switch it up every week.
So what's your preference in bread and do you make it yourself by chance?

I've never made my own bread but I do enjoy pretty much any bread that is freshly baked.

When we were in France I could have lived on bread and butter. The bread here is okay and of course fresh from the oven it's particularly nice. My sister-in-law makes all her own bread and she has it down to a fine art. We don't eat a lot of bread but mostly buy multi-grain for toast.

I don't make bread at all but I like bread. I like French bread but I prefer breads with no lard.

Whenever I buy bread; I like to buy wheat bread. It has been awhile since I had freshly baked bread.
