I never cared much for roller coasters. We had a huge one and a small one here and I wouldn't even go on the smaller one. Nope. Not me. The fastest roller coaster in the world is the Formula Rossa in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Eminrates at Ferrari World. It has a 6,790 foot track patterned after a famous race track. It reaches 149 mph in only 5 seconds. Would you ride it? I'll watch.

Oh my gosh I would have a heart attack. I rode a really fast one once and my head got thrown back it took me half the ride to move it from where it landed between the two headrests. Then it wrenched my neck a bit when we hit a turn. The rest of the ride my head was thrown down and I could not pick it back up. I rarely have ridden on since then it scared me so bad.

That happened to me when I was about 12 on a looping rollercoaster. I ended up with whiplash and I couldn't turn my head for a couple months. The pain would come back every year - very annoying - until in my adult life I learned to stretch. So if I don't keep my stretches maintained, that neck pain comes to haunt me !

@much2say people don't realize rides can actually hurt them. I used to love fast scary rides. I am terrified of them now.

I have a great fear of heights and never go on roller coasters but my late husband was fearless and I have some photos that I took from the ground with him on a roller coaster and I have drawn an arrow at the spot where he should be sitting.

Nope. I loved the old fashion wooden ones without all the twist, drops and upside down stuff. Not these killing machines.

Eek even those old wooden ones terrify me. They feel rickety and don't strap you in well.

Safer on the ground. I don't need a heart attack.

I used to ride, the lockness at Busch gardens had the steepest drop in the world just like falling from the sky. I'm a thrill seeker. Correction- WAS a thrill seeker.

I never go on roller coaster rides because I am too scared of them. Don't even stand to watch them.

In my youth, I would have jumped at the chance! Nowadays I can still handle it (I think) but I don't get excited as I used to (in fear of what "could" happen!). That sounds super fast!

Omg! lol. I don't think I will ever have to ride a roller coaster since I am very much afraid of heights. I might die!

When I was younger I loved roller coasters but those days are long gone. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would ride it.
