Yes it is that cold / myLot

The above picture is a falls in our area. Everything around here is frozen solid. This morning our temperature is -36C (-33F). Another day that I don't plan to venture out. My only plan is to stay inside where it is nice and warm and listen to the wind howling outside. Right now I am still under the covers and sipping on a hot mug of coffee. Oh how I miss those hot summer days. How are you all doing on this Sunday?

We are still very cold here but promised a warmer weather for a few days. I hope it is true. Enjoy the day inside.

Mostly, a whole lot of nothing. I did go out briefly to get a sub at Subway since I hadn't driven anywhere since Thursday. Yesterday, my drivers side door was frozen shut, today I was happy to see it was unfrozen. The temp here is about 17 degrees F give or take. I don't think it got more than 23 all day although they said it would.

BBBUUUUURRRRR that's just plain brutally cold. I'm glad you have a toasty warm home to relax in. So far I'm doing great, it's very warm here which is really odd for this early in the morning at this time of year.

We went to see the ice on Niagara Falls this weekend. I've always wanted to see that. It was extremely frigid down by the actual horseshoe falls, we sent quite a bit of time in the Welcome Centre, while I slowly drank hot chocolate. And we walked down the steep hill to the falls, and there was no way that I wanted to walk up that same hill, so I had to find us an alternative way up the hill-which I did and it was even free!

Since it will be a little warmer here today I will be grocery shopping then staying in. That's awfully cold, it sounds like you have a good plan for yourself. I would stay inside too. That is a beautiful picture.
