Getting Work Done

I've had a busy morning working on Thread of Evidence. I managed to get seven chapters edited and revised this morning, adding or subdividing chapters. I have five more chapters than I had when I started. I've done my best to bring the word count down, and was doing well on that, however, it's back up again, with some needed dialog and description. With subdividing chapters, I've also increased the page number. I don't know if it's going to be possible to bring this 760 page novel to heel. We'll see. I'm on page 200 something, and feel like I've been on a roller coaster ride this morning. So, I'm going to take a break and spend the afternoon here with you. I was right about the snow disappearing. It's almost gone. Temps were as high as 49 this morning. However, it has started to come down as the rain is supposed to stop and change over to snow in a couple hours. It's already come down 6 degrees, and should see falling temps the rest of the day. We could be in for glare ice before the night gets too far gone. Might be a bit hazardous going to the pool tomorrow. That's been my day. How has yours been? Thanks for reading.
