Cranberries Singer Dolores O'Riordan Dies

Oh, boy, looks like 2018 is going to be a long year when it comes to music obituaries. Cranberries vocalist Dolores O'Riordan died "suddenly" today (1/15) in London. No cause of death was immediately given, but the Cranberries had to cancel a reunion tour last year because of O'Riordan's health. The Irish band's biggest mainstream success came in the 90s with songs like "Zombie" and Dreams." They broke up in 2004 but reunited in 2009. Wow. What a shock. O'Riordan was only 46. I just heard and was shocked. This one is really upsetting also. Very underrated musician. My old Marine roommate from Dublin must be so sad right now.

I love the cranberries, I remember when I was younger my mom, brother, and I would all sing along to zombie together. It was our song. Going to be missed, love her voice very celtic sound.

This is a sad news. I won't forget their songs and their contribution to the music industry. Even though she's gone the legacy of her group will always remain in the hearts of the fans.
