Todd called me again today.
Todd calls me at least once a week with this important information about health care.
Normally, I just hang up on Todd, but today I was bored so I pressed one and waited for a live operator.
Because some days, I just gotta play with these guys. 
I should have asked if running out of cigarettes is an emergency.

I know that voice, he's the same idjit that's called me a few times, I wonder if they know what NO means ..... last time it was a gal and before she had a chance I asked how much the monthly charge would be and the blasted fool said "but wait, I haven't told you about the freebee" ..... rrrriiiiigggghhhhtttt 5 people like this

Now how did ya get him to almost pay that fee @JolietJake ?
I'm 68 and my income is solely SS and of course this and a couple other sites so that $39,95 monthly activation fee isn't something I'm willing to fork out and I've tried like the dickens to get them to pay that fee but they keep telling me "but that's as affordable as we can make it"
I'm not falling for it

@rebelann I think he was just getting flustered...at 6:18 I straight ask "Are you gonna pay the $40 for me?" and he says "Yes"...I wanted to started laughing SOOOO hard

I'm not sure how many times he mentioned the "$400 value free" thing...maybe 4 times...and dammit, I almost had him paying the monthly fee!

Hey! The guy has a job to do. He may not really like doing it but it's a job and he's been given a script to follow. You gave him a test (to see if he really could find his way through the multi-choice script) and you took him outside of his comfort zone there.
Have a heart! Give him a break! How much commission does he make outa that measly $39.99? Uh ... maybe $4 for an 8 minute ccall? That's 50 cents a minute (if he makes a sale - nothing if not) and that's a full $30 an hour. Let's say that every 6th call results in a sale (am I being generous?). The guy makes $5 an hour reading his script over and over and having to deal with some really awkward gits like you most of the time.
Next time let Scar answer. I'm sure that answers like "Miaaaoow??" and "Miaou!" don't figure in the 'expected responses and answers' bits of his spiel!
