How I spent my weekend 19-21

I was looking through the closet and found a George Foreman grill my parents gave me for my birthday. My sons the only one who eats meat and only ate chicken nuggets so I didn’t think it would ever get used. Lately my son has gotten a new obsession with eating hamburgers so I decided to try out the grill. Of course my son said it didn’t taste as good but I think it’s purely because he knew it was not made in a pan on the stove.
The lightbulb in my daughters room blew and when I took it out to change it I dropped it on the floor and pieces of it smashed everywhere 
I got all showered for the night and my dad asked me if he could come over fast and fix his hair he cut. Why he decided to butcher it himself instead of having me cut it to begin with I will never know lol
Saturday my kids and I went out shopping for groceries. The mattress pad on my bed wore out after 13 years so I went to Raymour & Flannigan to get a new one. The price went up almost $10 and the quality decreased about 50%. It is so thin it will wear out in no time and not hold much wetness back from the mattress underneath. So I will have to find somewhere else to buy a good one.
Today my man, his son and dog came over. He was sick the past two days. He always drinks out of the plastic cups in the cupboard which are my kids. He drank out of my daughters one then left it where she sits so she wound up drinking out of it thinking it was hers. So now she will probably wind up sick as well. Next time he uses one of those cups I’m going to throw the drink in his face until he learns to stop using their cups jk
While I made a creamy potato soup with corn in it (and rolls to go with it) he made tuna helper. My son tried it for the first time and liked it so I was happy! His son didn’t like it so he ate some of the soup and to many of the rolls.
Photo is of my puppy’s last plushie. It was a pillow pet she slept on since we brought her home. She chewed the eyes off every plush toy she had and pulled the stuffing out. She always bites my boyfriends dogs eyes too. I guess she doesn’t like dogs looking at her

It seemed pretty calm to me maybe because my boyfriend only came for a few hours today instead of on Friday and spending the night. Yea I'm not thrilled about him using her cups and possibly getting her sick now. It drives me nuts he uses the plastic plates and cups. My late husband did that, my sister and my boyfriend what is wrong with them lol

That poor thing she became blind. I hope your daughter will be fine, but it's better if she ate healthy food all the time.

@bluesa I baked them cookies Friday and her came running out and stuck his finger in one to claim it. He will be 12 in May he's old enough to quit acting like this! His dad and I discipline our kids about very different things his dad finds things he does funny. He does this every time I make cookies and I told him if he does that again that will be the only cookie he gets!

I really hope your daughter doesn't get sick! I hate when people leave their dirty stuff around. Especially with kids around.

My daughters 13 but he left the cup he drank out of in the spot where she sits. Since it was also one of her cups and had tea in it that she drinks it's no wonder she drank it thinking it was hers. Next time he takes a kid cup I'm going to give him an adult one and make him learn to stop drinking out of their cups when there is so many adult cups he can use.

@Courtlynn who knows my sister always uses them too and my late husband and my boyfriend both use/used the kids plastic plates. He probably does it just to annoy me.

@FayeHazel yep. Its in good shape as far as how it looks but they lose support after about 10 years.

That's a lot of activities but at least you got things done even if it's just the cooking. I didn't quite catch the man, dog, cup or sickness...seemed a bit jumbled up. Thanks for the share.

I just finished eating up the leftovers tonight. Sorry what I wrote was confusing. Basically he used the cup she always uses and so she drank it after and likely will be sick now due to him being ill recently.
