Forgetting can create good exercising sometimes

Yesterday morning I forgot where I put my car keys as I was about to wash the car. I said they must have been in the living room on the first floor. So I went up, and they weren't there. Then I remembered to check my jacket pockets at the entrance. So went down the stairs and they weren't there either. Then I thought maybe I put them in my trousers. So went all the way up the second floor and nothing.
This stairs climbing went on for a while until I finally found them In the laundry room. I have no idea how they go there but that was some good morning exercise. I did feel my quads afterwards.
Do you often forget where you put things?

Misplacing things is also a good way to clean or tidy my home. Clearing the clutter that collects on the coffee table....night stand....the entryway table.....

I agree @MorleyHunt. Lots of things get put away when we're searching for something.

It used to annoy me to be walking back and forth and not taking things with me but now I see it as enforced activity and good exercise - just as you've discovered. However our house is single-storey so I don't get any exercise going up and down stairs.
