Rain Before Snow

It's still pouring outside, but should be changing in a couple hours. I just looked at the afternoon projections and it looks like they're throwing a thunder/lightning storm into this mix. 
You can just see the rain hitting the concrete out there and the cars going by just spraying the rain on the roads.
I took this picture a short while ago. It's a river out there. Snow still across the street, but fading fast.
I'm glad I'm home. I hope you're having a good day. Notifications are finished for the time being and I will be moving on to other things. Like writing, for one. Have a good day. Thanks for reading.

I'm not venturing anywhere. Rainy roads turned to icy roads over night. Even traffic is slightly slower than yesterday.
How about you? Did you get a lot of snow from this storm?

@celticeagle Yes, it is. My sister fell on a patch of ice hidden under snow and shattered the bones in her wrist. She has several pins in her wrist at the moment.

oh my. problem with that is, if it snows will be pure ice under it and a danger to walk on.

@bunnybon7 Yes. I went to the pool this morning and the parking lot around my car was all ice. The Y parking lot was clear, which was nice.

Here it has been raining on and off all day. Went and bought some more rocks to paint, and hid a few more in the process. Supposed to be rainy thru the weekend.

I thought we were supposed to be dry. I didn't see anything about rain, but it's raining. I know we're supposed to get some snow, but not much before the weekend is out, and then some Monday and Tuesday.

So am I glad I was home. I'm home again today. All that rain turned to ice overnight. No pool today, but I'll be back there tomorrow.
