Dammit.
I got a call today from James Templeton at 876-301-1312 informing me MY phone number had been randomly selected by Publisher's Clearing House and I was the winner of $2,397,000.00 and a 2018 E Class Mercedes Benz.
I was sooooo surprised that I began laughing hysterically...and he hung up.
Luckily, I had the number he called from in my cell phone, so I called back...but it was busy. Fortunately, he called again, , and all I have to do to get my prize, that has already been shipped to the FDIC office in Carbondale Illinois, is simply pay a registration fee of $285 dollars and supply a copy of my driver's license to prove who I am, since they don't know who I am, because the phone number was randomly drawn and I have to supply this information, plus the registration fee, to prove the phone number does actually belong to me.
But I decided to turn it down, because there are people out there poorer than I that could really use it.
Coincidentally, it seems one of my facebook friends (whom is also an old member here) also was informed she won millions from Publisher's Clearing House...but they hung up on her too.
The video is long...about 16:35 was all I could handle of them and I hung up.

...and it is only going to cost me $285.00 to get it!! Actually, when he started calling me his 'brudder' and the same God we both pray to blessed me, I deci...

@JolietJake I've won $4000??? Brilliant! How do I get it?
I can only assume that they get the occasional bite.

And why don't they try something more believable, like "You won $4,000"

He claims it is because of his speakerphone, I asked him on the second call (before I got home) why he sounded like a recording.

I love to mess with those people when they call me. Now I usually only get the ones that ring two or three times or, the robo ones.

Sadly, that's the type of thing my boyfriend's mom always falls for. She's always sending money to these scammers thinking she's going to "get rich quick," and then gets mad when her prize never appears.

This is a typical scam artist move. I am so tired of these people trying to take advantage of the elderly. They always try to extort people especially the elderly.

I don't get as many calls as I used to, and I've started videoing most of them for laughs.

@JolietJake You should laugh and tell them to go get a job or you tell them the cops or tracing this cal as you speak and they are on the way lol
