What?? Eleven School Shootings in the US in 2018?

This is hard to believe and so very sad. I heard about the one in Kentucky, where a boy (always a boy) killed two and wounded fifteen or so. There is a least on college included in the list, but they are schools too. In some, the school was fired upon from outside, others were suicides. Not every case resulted in injury, fortunately. It is becoming commonplace and a page two kind of story in the US. Are we numb?
11 school shootings in the first 23 days of the year is why my then kindergartner learned what to do in an active shooter situation before addition.

Yup. And people think the solution is for teachers to be armed.

That is just crazy! When I was growing up the fights were at the sonic, the common hang out, not school!

This is almost unbelievable, in the 'Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave!' When our kids aren't even safe, in a classroom? That's pathetic!

@JamesHxstatic What has our country done, to deserve such a horrible attack of vengeance?

That is so sad. But the world is getting worse and worse as we know it. I hope everyone is safe.

They are going to have to place extra care on the mental health of students and create a more welcoming and friendly atmosphere for kids. More Cops are going to have to be present within so many feet of schools
