Rainy day today..I think Monday will be too. I have someone coming over today and the Grammy's are on today so that is the excitement for today I guess. They are interviewing Neil Diamond on TV. He will be getting a lifetime achievement award on the Grammy's. I saw him in concert once..years ago..it was a great show. He recently had to his interrupt his 50th anniversary tour due to Parkinson's. Did you ever get to see Neil Diamond live? Do you like him?

I never saw Diamond live. He is more my mother's generation.

@JohnRoberts I didn't listen to alternative/punk except for the Cars. They were my fave.

@snowy22315 That is true but my radio stations never played Diamond and he wasn't exactly in the alternative/punk world.

@snowy22315 I checked he did, in the UK, Vienna and even in the north of Switzerland, not close enough where I live.

I love Neil Diamond and have seen him many times in concert and was never disappointed. One time all my girlfriend and I rented a limousine and traveled back and forth to his concert in style. It was the best fun and we felt like celebrities arriving in a limo.

He was popular in Perth and probably all of Australia. He certainly gave his all in a performance but I didn't see him live.

I saw him in concert once. It wasn't my thing,but my friend matt had tickets to see him that he bought for his mom and didn't want to go just him and his mom, so I tagged along. hes not my thing.
