~A Day Of Celebrating Here!!~

Good morning everyone! I hope you are feeling amazing! God is so good and we are alive today. 
Be grateful for that if nothing else. =)
Today is a celebrating day in our home!! Our little Julian is 2 years old today. He's such a sweet, loving, funny and smart boy. God blessed us so much with him. He loves being goofy to make others smile. His new favorite thing to do is lip sync while making funny hand movements-it's hilarious! 
He is starting to talk more by the day and he loves to pray! He reminds the older kids to say grace often now. 
We love him so much!
Another thing we are celebrating today is I am 1 month smoke FREE!! God is so amazing and He is the ONLY reason I can say I am an ex smoker. Any time I craved a cig in the beginning I watched a Todd White sermon or I would read a Bible verse-that is all that got me through this. Now, I do NOT have cravings at all!!!
One last thing we are celebrating is my husband Johnny is 2 months chewing tobacco free!! Another wow God moment! He could NOT have done that on his own either. Same as me, Johnny was more focused on getting closer to God. He watched sermons, read his Bible and prayed whenever he had a weak moment. 
So, as you can probably tell we are having some cake and happy moments today after Johnny gets off work!!
Be grateful for that if nothing else. =)

I remember you announcing Julian's birth like it was yesterday. How could it be 2 years?
Wish the little guy a very happy birthday.
A special congratulations to both you as well as Johnny for going nicotine free, that is inspiring and I hope that anyone thinking about quitting realizes that it is possible.

@Juliaacv That is the coolest thing about it. I was NOT ready either! I was watching Todd White on youtube and I literally heard in my head, you are not smoking anymore. I was like wait what? I am not ready to quit yet. God said again, you are finished. I argued in my head for a bit with Him (Lol) and I walked in the kitchen after crying a bit and threw the pack away. I called Johnny to tell him I was surrendering it ALL and I told my kids I was done smoking!!
The first couple of days was tough but every time I wanted one I watched another sermon, prayed, sang a worship song and kept busy. It can be done with the Lord's help!! =)

@LovingMyBabies I know that its struck a chord in me. And I have discussed it with my husband, who tells me he isn't ready to quit yet, but I reminded him that if we wait until we are ready it may never happen.
Happy celebrating today, you all deserve it! I look forward to seeing a picture of the birthday boy today!!!

You CAN do it!! I am going to pray for you and I suggest you watch a Todd White video. It's amazing what God can do, it's not in our strength but in His. Seek God and He will take that addiction away, I promise you!
