I suppose we are all proudly serving our credit masters. It seems like every time you think you are starting to get ahead you end up finding yet another bill. At least that's how I feel. Fortunately we received our tax refund today. I went online to check my bank account and there it was as pretty as you please. Who-hoo! It's like finding a small treasure chest with a bit of money hidden inside. It came at such a good time too. What the heck am I talking about? Anytime is a good time for extra money to show up. So, I think I will go to K-Mart and check out their sales. They are having a closing sale with anywhere from 10 to 75 percent on their merchandise. I could use a set of sheets, a new tablecloth... I am sure you get the idea. I hope every is getting a refund and it appears in your account sooner than you think.

We haven't filed yet. I don't know what my husband is waiting for.

I always do the taxes as soon as I get all the papers I need. I like to get it out of the way.

@HazySue That's smart. Some people wait until the last minute. Think hubby may be one of them.

@lovebuglena if you end up having to pay then I can't say I blame him for delaying.

I won't know until much later if I get a refund or not but congratulations on your treasure and enjoy getting some bargains at KMart.

I did get a few bargains. You have to be so careful when shopping at a store that is going out of business. They tend to mark up the prices before they give a discount.

I should check my bank account. Thanks for the reminder. Mine will go to the huge goal of buying a new house so I won't be heading on a buying splurge.

Mine was a tiny splurge of things we wanted and needed. The rest of the money is in the bank waiting patiently to be spent on emergencies. It is a huge goal to save for a house. I hope you accomplish it soon.

I did I spent just over $40 and ended up with a tablecloth, two bath towel sets, a rug set for the bathroom, and a huge bad of dog food.
