Why do some continually get Runtime Error message?

This is what the message looks like:
Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.
Of course, when this does happen, the photos that I'm trying to include won't upload.
Several here have mentioned this issue, but no one has explained a way to avoid it.

This is most likely because the photo file size is bigger than 3 MB. The way to avoid it is do not try to upload photos that are too big to upload here.

From the discussion here, seems more of my photos need to be made smaller.

@JolietJake I always shrink my photos as well, so no problems occur.

If you want to see it, try to upload a photo in a discussion larger than 3 MB, you'll get it for sure. I occasionally upload from the folder that holds my camera photos before I shrink them, and every time...

@PatZAnthony there are free easy to resize sties for photos. I often resize when I know they are too large and then they upload easily. This is one of the easiest that I use.

Resize your image online in three simple steps! Trouble mailing your images? Trouble putting your image online? Resize your images here; it's a free service.

The way to avoid it is to make sure the photo file is less than 3 MB. Anything larger than that will not upload and will give you the error instead.

It is because the photo is too big. The file has to be less than 3 MB to use here or you will get the error.

@JolietJake so only file size only reason for run time error.but when I refreshed and tried it without reducing file size it worked .but what you said might be a reason too jj

@Icydoll You may experience a network problem too, but she is specifically relating this to photos, and you will always get that error message if the file is too big

@PatZAnthony I always post from my PC.

@bagarad The ones posted from my PC were usually taken with my phone, then sent from the phone to the PC. It seems one of our phones has larger photos saved, while the other phone has photos that are fine.

@bagarad This happens to me when my photos are taken with a certain phone. Just have to do a bit of extra work!

I agree with @JolietJake, this is possibly due to the size of the photo, that is too big.

@JolietJake had the answer. This should not be an issue for me if I remember to resize the photos first @amadeo

As JJ just mentioned, I just read it, sounds like you might try uploading a smaller image, a .jpeg or .jpg image and see if that works out.
