I Nose You Well

Friday morning my nephew had surgery nearby. My sister and brother-in-law live three hours away, but the specialist was near us, so my sister and niece stayed at my dad's house Friday night while my brother-in-law stayed at the hospital. Most of you know my niece and nephew are adopted. My nephew, Hudson, has fetal alcohol syndrome, so he has a lot of health problems. He is 2 1/2 years old, but he needed his tonsils and adenoids removed in order to breathe better. They went home this morning.
My dad went to the hospital to stay with them for the surgery, but as you know, these things never happen on time. So eventually he took Amyra home with him. He walked in the door, and looked exhausted. Amyra had already tired him out (she is 6)! So I tried to occupy her, which involved a lot of My Little Pony. I took this picture of her. Her glasses are sliding down her nose, but that just makes her cuter.
Who was the last company you had? I wished they could have stayed with me, but my apartment is a one bedroom.

Aww i can only imaging the worry and how tiring the time was. At least he will feel better once he's all healed up. Your niece is adorable.

My granddaughter and her dog Addie stayed with us as she traveled to Miami from Arizona. Your niece is adorable.

Surgery at 2 1/2! That is hard. I hope he feels better. Amyra is a cute child. Hope your nephew recovers quickly!

I love having kids around and I love babies. I remember when I was just a very young kid, my mom would borrow our neighbour's baby so we could have a baby in our house.

Last night my uncle stayed over, having no where else to go. And tonight my friends kids / my niece and nephew are staying over after my mom and i took them to dinner and a movie.

I hope Hudson will recover well and quickly. Amyra is so adorbable. Maybe 1 at a time could stay with you. Couch cushions on the floor of a living room could make a fun "camp out" or "fort" maybe?

@AmbiePam That would be cool! I know a friend of mine used to get 1 of her brothers at a time. It was fun for them :-)
