A new acting job popped up

I joined some Facebook groups in Portland where production companies often post their new projects and casting needs. The scripts and lead roles are set, but extras are needed.
A Netflix show series called "American Vandal" is starting Season 2 by filming in Portland and sent out a call for extras. I was one of probably many who responded and was surprised to be chosen.
While at this time, I have no idea of the part (no lines, I'm sure), I will go to Portland later today and spend the night at my daughter's house so I will not have far to go to wherever this thing is happening. They keep locations and times very quiet, but I will know around noon today.
Whatever the part is, I will film tomorrow and then have a recurring scene to film on the 17th, so two days work is a good thing and it will be a lot of fun.

It really is. I get to do more than I expected to, but I do keep track of what is going on and submit info promptly, guess that helps.

Finally, I got a time and place message, 3:15 meeting at some church in Portland tomorrow, shuttleing to the set or whatever. Strange.

@celticeagle No, they are working every day. My part was postponed, but we filmed yesterday and I ended upo getting some lines so will get paid more.

@LadyDuck I wrote a bit abut it tonight. Hard to say how or when it happened, but she is on crutches and wearing a boot on her right foot, unable to drive, so the doc wrote a note to that effect that my daughter sent her employer. She can work from home since her job is internet related. I will go back up for the filming and may stay over again. It was beautiful the last two days. but will rain for a few now, so not looking forward to the driving so much.

It did! I ended up with lines, so am now a "featured" guy on that show and do a second shot on Tuesday.
