Yesterday was my weigh-in for the seventh month. @kobesbuddy and @DianneN are waiting for this post and the picture above to show you the new me.
I didn't weigh myself at the pool yesterday due to the wonderful, and I mean wonderful, snowstorm we had yesterday that gave us 5.3 inches of wonderful whiteness on the ground. You might have seen the last post with my car covered in it.
I did weigh myself at home, though and the grand total for this month is a loss not a gain like last month, of 4 pounds. Not a lot, but it does bring me to just over a hundred pounds to go now and eighteen to finally feel like I'm on the downward slope to this weight loss program I've been on.
Some of you know I also added two new items to my diet this past month. We all have a sweet tooth, me too, and going seven months without any sweets is long, even for me. One thing I knew I could add to my diet without cheating was almond flour. Then I heard it was National Pancake Day the day I bought the flour, and went looking for a compatible recipe and found one. So, now I have pancakes on my diet, without cheating. With the addition of pancakes, it gave me the possibility that I could make cookies too, and with some improvising, made a good chocolate cookie, again, without cheating on my diet.
My friend arrived shortly after I called her to let her know I was home after having to leave because they plowed the parking lot here, and the above picture is the result of this month's progress with the program. I am now down a total of 32 pounds and I'm very happy about that.
The picture on the left is last month, the picture on the right was taken a short while ago.
Thanks for reading.

That's exactly what the doctor suggested loose weight for me. But I just won't listen until this gout came on me again.
But I hope this year I could make progress. It's been harder to loose weight as you grow older.
You are an inspiration to me, please keep it up my friend.
