No one you know has died and gone to Heaven

And I am not saying Heaven doesn't exist.
It very well may for all I know.
But the Bible does not teach that you go to Heaven for being good when you die.
It teaches that we do not rise from our graves until the Day of Judgement.
Then...and only then...might we enter into Heaven.
Until that day, we 'sleep' in our graves.
Unless you get cremated...then I don't have a clue what happens.
I don't know why, but many Christians seem to just pass this fact over...

@JolietJake This is correct, they always talk about "graves" and we know that in the past not all cultures buried the corpses in the ground. Some tombs were in carved caves, pyramids and so on.

Strangely enough, the Bible doesn't actually forbid cremation, but neither does it really say much at all about it

My family has always been cremated. I am told that "we" get reincarnated - I assume back on this silly planet
. I just assumed maybe water gets added to the ashes to form a "playdoh" - and then we get shaped into whatever it is we are to be reincarnated into
.

Reincarnation is not true, we will never experience the life of a tree or a flower:(

And those of us here in hell (normal life) reincarnate into the cycle over and over, while those that chose to sleep get a pass. :P
I've been to heaven a few times in the past (roughly 12,500 - 13,500 years ago) before the War of Seven. It's highly overrated. There are much nicer places here on Earth. Though not everything in the Bible is entirely factual, this is mostly because Heaven had a population limit. I believe it states that in the Bible that the limited attendance was like 23,000. Though I really can't remember.
Then again, there's the little notion that the Day of Judgement already happened, and Heaven is full and that everyone just reincarnates anyway. Why? Because the Bible mentions that all the events of Revelation would occur within the lifetime of those who were around when Jesus was.
So yeah, no need to worry, just party on!

I'm going to be cremated @JolietJake . "From the dust you were created and to the dust you shall return." IF people weren't filled with embalming fluid when they are buried, after a certain amount of time, there would be nothing but dust left in the casket.

But...but... the Day Of Judgement....we don't even know when it is gonna be. What if it isn't here for over several millions of years? In that case, the people who were buried before now would be natural resources like oil, coal, diamond, etc. How would that work then?

It seems we are 'taught' many things that aren't really true

@JolietJake But the true or pure message is still around us which is no one corrupted that.! Hope you find it one day and you will never ever find a mistake.

@JolietJake The Bible is the only truth there is, Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life.
