"My Granny is Running for 100 Years!!! Can You Believe That?”

It was a long day and busy with so many things. The best part of this day, my granny arrived to visit the family. As they said, “Time flies so fast.” My dear granny will be 100 years in June this year. She can still travel from one place to another. In fact, my family and I were so frustrated. We may not come to her natal’s day. For the reason that my late father’s siblings and our family were not on good terms. The culprit is inheritance issue. At this point in time, we will just enjoy being with her. Hopefully, she will still live longer than a hundred year old. “Did your elders reach a hundred year?” Image Credit: pixabay.com

My grandma is not that old, but she has to live in the nurse house so that there will be people to take care of her all the time. It is great that your granny will be 100 years old and she still seems to be so healthy.

It is my first time that China is open to letting the old people go to live in a home for the elders. In my country, it is not that popular. I hope your granny will live longer years. My granny is still strong and healthy.

@youless It is nice to hear that. I do think that Filipinos are not ready for this. It is still in the culture that the family members should take good care of their elders.

My granny has the same sentiments. She acted like being worried because of her age. I was also thinking that she might live more than a hundred years. My great grandma lived 111.

@Shavkat Does that mean she is still with them then or with someone else on any other Island? Its good that they cannot get what they want. Chin up and you might be able to get to see your Grandmother sooner than you think on happier terms for all.

@lovinangelsinstead21 Uhm I think she is going to celebrate twice. She will be in Manila and then, to her hometown. It is 2 hours drive by car to her hometown. However, we still need not to go.

It is nice that you still remember the story. In fact, the evil relatives cannot get what they wanted and decided to let my granny travel. The sad part, we cannot able to attend her birthday in June.

Unfortunately, none that I know of. But my friend's grandma will be 100 years old this year as well. I am sorry to hear about your family. It is really a headache when inheritance is the issue.

I agree. It has been years that we are dealing with this family issue. Right after my father's burial, they started to make our lives in hell. But then, we are strong enough to face them. My grandma knows it and it breaks her heart.

@mlgen1037 That's what money can do to them. They were been controlled by it and turned greedy.

@Shavkat I am sorry to hear about that. I am sure your grandma is not happy with what is happening between your family and your relatives. But your relatives have no right to do what they think they have the right to do.

That's a great age to be. I used to work in an old people's home and a few of them there lived to be 100. My great grandmother lived to be 92 and my mother 90 but no one in my family has lived to 100.
