Feeding the Birds

Hello everyone.
Okay, I admit me and my kids have a habit. Every month we go to Padre Pio Church and when we go there, we do not only pray but my kids are more excited in feeding the birds. Yes, you read it right. There are dozens maybe a hundred or so doves there.
You can buy bird feeds there but most of the times, it is out of stock. So we put it in our own hands. lol
Whenever we go there, we make it a point to have a lot of food snacks, no, not for the kids, but for the birds. lol 
We bring a lot of biscuits, chips, bread, everything that can be eaten by birds. As you see in the picture above, my son enjoys feeding them.

@mlgen1037 yes you are very right. But since we have to crush the biscuits and chips to small pieces by our hands, some doves cannot wait.

Our garden is designed with birds in mind. They have everything there including fruits, lush greenery, trees and a bird bath

oh yes @Letranknight2015, we are getting there. My son who has a delay in development cannot sleep now without praying and hugging all of us. He also knows what to pray now if I did not mention the other prayers (I actually intentionally do that to know if they are listening, lol). During the Holy week we watched the TV series The Bible.

@ridingbet oh we have a lot of that in the neighborhood also. Once, the build a nest under the roof of our house.

@rakski yes even in the gutters and mango trees, and i really wonder if the birds stay put in their nests when there are typhoons.

We went there last Holy Week, but I did not know (saw) the birds. Next time, I'll bring some bird seeds . Thanks for this information.

Yes I did. When I was in Bangkok you'll find pigeons everywhere and most especially in the park near the weekend market.
