Things I like about MyLot

One of the things I really like about this place is the fact we can have separate conversations within a discussion. By that I mean we can start off discussing the actual topic and then another conversation will branch out from that and we don't get told off for going off topic!
I also like the fact we can come here any time and post and there are no time or post restrictions. With some places I have been we can only do a certain number of posts within a 24 hour period then we must wait until the next day. I know this is a social networking site rather than a forum but admin could easily impose more restrictions if they wanted.

Yes I love a site which has no time restriction. A lot of my notifications come in while I am sleeping

What I like best about MyLot? No pressure. Site admin is great! Members are cool! And I can earn some extra money.

Yes I like that. Some sites have so many rules and restrictions but even our earnings are the same if we don't visit for a long time.

i like that we can jump in and join in a response box that it becomes a subdiscussion.
it seems that the limits you mentioned tend to be common in sites where earning sites are discussed more, and general/social topics less, maybe because they want the site to be more of a resource, like when people are searching for online sites.

Yes this is the only social networking site I belong to. The others are forums which discuss other earning sites or general stuff but we have to stay on topic. MyLot figures quite a lot on other forums. People like to talk about it.

The flexibility is nice. I don't like to post too many discussions in a short amount of time. One a day is usually more than enough for me.

I sometimes do two if I have time but I prefer to wait and see how one goes before posting another. If it falls flat I might think of something else.

@Morleyhunt I find when I first post I get quite a few replies and then it will fall off for a while before gathering a few more replies. Many of us are sleeping at different times so I guess it's to be expected.

@sprite1950 I posted on on Friday evening....Saturday morning it had just one response. That was disappointing. I really didn't have time to write another discussion so I commented here and there and went back to the laundry and packing I needed to do. By evening the post had garnered many more comments.
This morning I finally found time to write another discussion.

That is hard a place that has limited posts. I like it here because there are very good people and very helpful ones here too. People come from all over the world with their opinions.

I think you will like it and you find people you have things in common with as you go along and that's when it gets more interesting.

I think it is great to be able to write whenever we want to. I am a night owl and I might be on here until 3 or 4am. Some places close everything down after certain hours. I can also post as much as I want and about anything I want as long as it is not offensive. What more can I ask for.
This is a place I come to when I cannot sleep or have no one around to talk to any time day or night.

Yes the good thing is we are all around at different times because of our time differences so there is usually someone to talk to. I am an early morning person, up at 6am and on here by 6.30 am.
