Update on our new Ikea wardrobe

Well, here is the Ikea wardrobe as far as we’ve got. Tomorrow we’ll put on four mirrored sliding doors and some glass-fronted shelves etc. We haven’t had much trouble at all assembling it although we started to nail one back sheet on the wrong way so the lovely white finish would have been against the wall. But we were able to fix it relatively easily.
I’ll post another photo tomorrow when it should be finished. I’m off to bed now. Although it hasn’t been strenuous work I am really tired and Vince is sneezing and thinks he might be getting a cold.

Thanks. We've been working on it again this morning. It's actually much more time-consuming than we imagined.

Sliding mirrors is a first time for me. You will have to be extra careful I guess while fixing those.

@allknowing We could have paid for someone to do it for us but we like doing these sorts of jobs ourselves.

@arthurchappell Did you think the shelves were well-made? We've been very impressed with the workmanship in our units.

I am thinking about getting one of these too, it is so practical and will allow me to get rid of some dressers.

@BelleStarr We have finished as much as we can until we get a new piece of glass but I don't want to 'spoil' it by putting clothes in it.

Why is that? Was it just too big and overwhelming?

Your wardrobe looks very big but glad it wasn't hard to assemble. I hate having to assemble things but I'm sure Vince is a big help. Hope neither of you is getting a cold
