Bombing Syria, a serious act of war

Here we go, off on an adventure to make war in Syria, this time with missiles or with bomber planes. If there are planes involved, I predict we will lose some pilots. If the missiles come from our naval ships, they may be targeted by the Russian allies of the Syrian government. This is a serious act of war that could become a much wider conflict in a big hurry. If Russian assets are hit, there is no telling what their reaction will be. It may even be illegal for the President to launch these attacks. Maybe he hopes that this open-ended attack which could last for days, weeks or longer will be enough to take him off the hook in the various investigations. With this president, every day holds some new chaos. All we can do is hope the Russians don't react the way they could.

We do not remember a time when the USA was not at war. Some here seem to have forgotten we are involved in a war every day right now. My heart goes out to any person (which is most on the planet) suffering because of wars happening now.

I agree, Pat. The world has become an even more dangerous place than it was.

This is such a worry. Vince is just watching an interview with Trump while we're having coffee.

There's still some investigation going on for chemical attack in syria. You are not supposed to kill people who ever you are. But war is war. Syria has played the role of culprit too much. I hope solution will come without any fight as if fight happens then overally a loss for both.

Yes, we seem to feel that we know what happened, so will strike anyway.

I have read the news and it's scary, Italy did not join, Switzerland never attack other countries. We are going to have more refugees and plenty of problems.

It always seems that someone wants to make trouble somewhere and no one ever learns anything. I will pray this does not escalate. I just read a poem today where someone wrote that Trump was a real wack.

The playground bully feels justified. Is it a good thing to give somebody a bloody nose or should we try to figure another way to rectify the horrible mess? Unimaginable soul sadness here.

I don't see why Putin is friends with Syria anyway @JamesHxstatic . Syria's president is as nutty as North Korea's.

Hmmm. The war in Syria has not been resolved and why is it that the US have to put their hands on this again? As you know Putin is not someone to be reckoned with. Since time and again, we know Russia is very reactive to this kind of situation and they do not let their guards down.

War is upon us. Russia and China joining forces to protect their assets in Syria. US, UK, and France serving as global police and would like to see Assad out of Syria in a heartbeat.
