@LadyDuck i was always wishing his brother would let us know, but i guess it would depend if he was able to give him instructions. i also asked him before about the stray cats he fed, but he said his neighbors also feed them.

This is such sad news

I have had so many exchanges with him here and his attitude was unique. I have also many gifs which he made and guess it will be difficult to use them from now on

. I have not been here in recent months but I recall one of the last exchnages we had: Koalemos @Asylum (48288) • Manchester, England 29 Dec @mysdianait It is virtually impossible to know whether I have a few months or even years, although my condition is incurable and is certainly terminal. I see this as no major cause for concern because we never know how long we have whatever our health and situation R.I.P Barry and thank you for being here and leaving your mark on the Lot for so many of us

I remember him as an extremely witty person. Yes, he and @JaboUK had a limerick session on, he was too good. It was fun. He will never be forgotten for sure. RIP asylum.

I must admit I feared the worst, but the news is still heartbreaking. As you know, we had many limerick 'duels' - he was funny, witty and so droll. RIP Barry.

He will be missed here on myLot. He was quite the traveler and always shared his experiences here with a wonderful sense of humor. He took great delight in choosing postcards for a few of us while on his many trips and posting them with lovely local stamps that were always so difficult to find! Rest in Peace.
