The New Tenants Are for the Birds

A new couple moved in not too long ago. I call them Robin and Robyn Bird. Quite the cute couple, too.
For years a bird has tried in vain to put a nest on top of my porch light. Because of the rainy month, this one finally succeeded.
They should have picked the door I don’t use that much to build by, but I figure it’s good practice for those forthcoming bundles of joy.
I hope everything is successful. I’m sorry I scare them every time I open the door, but I do like my new tenants.
They like the rent price, too!

When the red red robin comes bobbing along or is that a rockin' robin?

@FourWalls Argh! I fell into the trap of aiding and abetting your shameless promotion of your favorites!

Nice to have such tenants. Too bad you scare them. Maybe next time they will learn to use the other door.

You can barely see one sticking up in the picture. It flew off almost immediately after I took the picture.

They shouldn't be too noisy either.

That’s a gorgeous bird! And quite the nest-building skill, too!

Robins don't seem to have a brain in placing their nests. We had a pair who made their nest in a pine branch. Along came a thunderstorm and knocked the nest to the ground the eggs smashed and the baby birds spilling out. They soon started another nest on a pine branch next to the one that was zapped.
