Kings Day in Amsterdam

Hello fellow Mylotters! Sorry that I was not here for a few days. I have arrived last night from my short vacation in the Netherlands. I had a lot of fun bonding days with my relatives. My sis and I had planned to go to The Hague but we have changed our minds as we have heard that it was already full of that early day on Friday 27th of April. So we decided to just go to Amsterdam as it was only 20 minutes ride with a train to be in the city. The city was indeed not so full as what my sis had expected. Maybe most of the Dutch just went away and the city was only occupied by the tourists like me or they went to Groningen were the King and his family were visiting on the Kings Day. Every year, the king chooses a town or city to visit. Well, it was an enjoyable and tiresome day for me. I forgot to wear a flat shoes for long hours of walk. Instead I wore boots with 2 inches high. Crazy me. I have brought a flat shoes for that long hours of walk in Amsterdam but I have not wore it. Anyway, my feet are okay now. The photo above was one of the photos I took in Amsterdam. How do you like it? How are you keeping?

@BelleStarr Was it not great? I have seen the Night Watch too and it was awesome. I have to go there again and take a photo of it and the other awesome paintings, too. The photo that my sis took me at the Night Watch was blurred.

@ridingbet Yes, I do when I need it but only the feet not the legs. Mostly when my feet and hands are tried.

Gladfully not @ridingbet. I use paraffin wax treatment a day after I arrived home. It was okay again.

Yes, it is @jstory07. There were many of this boat full of tourists enjoying the Amsterdam canal cruises. I have videos of this canal tour but not posted yet in my you tube channel.

Nice photo. That looks like something I would like to ride in. When I travel I do a lot of walking so I always wear runners or sandals

Your photo is beautiful! We loved Amsterdam, but those cobbled streets do take a toll on your feet, no matter what shoes you wear. We took an open air boat ride through the canals, but it was a nice day for it in June. I'd love to return.
