dinner tonight -- what the heck am I going to feed these people?!

I don't want to order pizza. I don't want to make tacos again. I don't have any drumsticks in the freezer. I don't have any buns for sloppy joes. Two of them hate potatoes, one of them hates mac & cheese, and another one can't tolerate wheat very well. I don't really want to turn on my oven unless there's no choice. Argh. Time to hit Pinterest.

Meatballs poached raw in the sauce? Meatloaf cooked in a disposable pan on the grill? Chili? Those are just ideas I have for ground beef since you mentioned sloppy Joe’s I don’t know what else you have on hand.

It turned out that I was out of ground beef! I sent someone to the store for buns and we had hot dogs that night. I have since purchased 10 lbs of ground beef.

Canned tuna, lettuce and mayo, or an omelette with some veggies added, zucchini are good.

@marguicha Almost everyone. My child who can't eat wheat wasn't home, which made it a little easier. My youngest stepson just ate his pasta plain with grated Parmesan cheese.

I was trying to avoid getting fast food. A run to the border can cost us $40 or more for dinner.

I actually haven't loaded up. The freezer got frosted over again (some kid left the freezer door open), so I'm trying to get it emptied out so I can defrost it.

@thislittlepennyearns I've got a turkey in there. I'll probably plug in the Nesco roaster outside and cook it in there when I decide to make it. I have some chicken sausages that were my weekly freebie from the grocery store. I'll probably make those for dinner tonight, but I'm not sure what to do with them yet.
