I don't want to order pizza.
I don't want to make tacos again.
I don't have any drumsticks in the freezer.
I don't have any buns for sloppy joes.
Two of them hate potatoes, one of them hates mac & cheese, and another one can't tolerate wheat very well.
I don't really want to turn on my oven unless there's no choice.
Argh. Time to hit Pinterest.

It turned out that I was out of ground beef! I sent someone to the store for buns and we had hot dogs that night. I have since purchased 10 lbs of ground beef.

A dinner omelette is a great idea. I'll do that sometime this week!

@spiderdust oh that was close! Lol. I love tater tots. My mom has been buying cherry tomatos and snacking on them at work.

They'd love that! I'd probably go insane when their blood sugar crashed.

@marguicha Almost everyone. My child who can't eat wheat wasn't home, which made it a little easier. My youngest stepson just ate his pasta plain with grated Parmesan cheese.

I was trying to avoid getting fast food. A run to the border can cost us $40 or more for dinner.

They'd be thrilled, but that doesn't sound like a well rounded meal.

I hope you've loaded up on meat since then. Were having leftovers tonight

I actually haven't loaded up. The freezer got frosted over again (some kid left the freezer door open), so I'm trying to get it emptied out so I can defrost it.

@thislittlepennyearns I've got a turkey in there.
I'll probably plug in the Nesco roaster outside and cook it in there when I decide to make it.
I have some chicken sausages that were my weekly freebie from the grocery store. I'll probably make those for dinner tonight, but I'm not sure what to do with them yet.

I made them hot dogs.
Tonight I have to make them some kind of chicken casserole, and I'm sure they'll complain.

Different kids like different things, but they seem to like very few things all together.
