It sounded like a good idea.

Bananas foster, pancakes, breakfast, food, family

Bananas Foster pancakes is what you are looking at. At the time I ordered it that sounded very good. However, I had no idea how big a plate they would be on, or how much syrup would be poured over them. I hadn't had sugar in awhile, so when we went out for breakfast, I decided to splurge. Oh, no, no, no. Not a good idea! I ended up taking 3/4 of it home with me, and then eating only a half of that. What is the last thing that sounded like a good idea, but wasn't?

That looks good. A good idea that sounded good but wasn't... can't recall anything right now.

That would probably have been delicious if there were no syrup on it. The bananas have enough sweetness I think. The last good idea that flopped, was grilling last night. I have a little non-stick grill with some holes on it that I place on top of the grill, so that nothing sticks, and I left it to cool out on the grill. I just realized it a few minutes ago, because we are getting ready to grill supper tonight and then I had to soak it and scrub it up.

I'd need to make a list to cover your question. I have a heap of ideas that failed.

I don't eat breakfast out very often. Usually only when I'm driving somewhere and will be in the car a long time. I like the drive through and just something simple like an egg sandwich. That plate is wayyyy to big and wayyyyy too much sugar for a normal person..

Oh wow. It looks good, but is sugary I bet. Let's see, I tried making a chicken soup. It turned out so gross. :/

I used to have a giant bowl of coffee ice cream a few months ago. Last week, I had one again (I thought I should miss it somehow). Weird, but the taste was not good one bit. I haven't been able to figure out what or why I didn't like it anymore.

It happens many times when I go to parties thinking that I will taste at least every dish there but end up eating nothing.

I would say eating at a French restaurant in NYC. I thought it would be formal and quiet and lovely. It wasn't. The food was not good and it was expensive (which I expected), but had loud music and was rather casual. I would have rather had your bananas Foster!

Spicy salmon sushi. I didnt realize how spicy it was and the plate was huge and stacked! I drank alot of water with that meal and rice expands in water.
