Same here. I do love planting and growing my own food. Soon I will transplant the flowers and herbs I have in pots, I sowed the seed.
Have a wonderful day!

It has been a while since I have successfully grown my own food, but I am getting back into it. I keep telling myself I can work at my own pace since I am not going back to full time work. Outside in the mornings is lovely. Naps in the afternoon, LOL.

I was always an outdoor kid, and I have missed it.

I have been gone most all day. I could go do some stuff now. I am slowly getting my new purchases planted.

Today is a bit chilly here, due to the wind.. so I'm glad I don't have to do any of that.

We had a very nice north breeze yesterday. It is moderate today as well so I have been out.

I am. I have set up some planters for some young plants to grow in.

No rain here the last two days, but I am almost ready for some more.

Iwas working outside, then about 2:00 it started to rain a bit. So I packed everything up, afraid it might get serious. And that's all it did! Sprinkled long enough for me to put everything away. So I've just been lurking around the net for the past couple hours.

Oh, I have to have my indoor time too. I will be gone a lot tomorrow, so there is that as well.

Don't you just love it when the weather puts a wrench in your plans?

Some days I need to stay in and rain would be a good excuse. I have a large yard and right now just a regular lawn mower. I mow as long as I can and then take it easy. If it rains I cannot mow.

Yes, it is good to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Gardening is considered to be one of the best gentle exercises for an old person like me.

I had purchased a bunch of herbs and I need to figure out where I am planting them.

If I had kept up with it when I was younger I would be healthier now. No, I am not going to overdo it, but I really would like to see an improvement outdoors. I am seeing an improvement in my blood glucose numbers and I think at least part of it is due to working outdoors more. Last year at this time I was having to drive my husband to work and therapies for his stroke and could not be at home enough. I am grateful for this year. Oh, and I did take a good nap.
