What a place to make a movie!

Eugene, Oregon

This little independent movie got lucky when the director, Paul Bright, worked on another film that had rented this beautiful home on 3.5 acres in Tualatin, Oregon. The people who own the home, a prominent lawyer and his wife, liked Paul and let him use this place, free of charge, for his movie. We were there for only two hours, filming three scenes, but the gracious host served dinner for the four of us on the beautiful patio near the pool, waterfall and tennis courts. There are 300 rose bushes on the property.

@sallypup This one was pretty much a favor to a friend, so not much, but I stayed over at my daughter's house, so it was worth it. Good experience too.

The roses must be beautiful and the place certainly is. The owners sound like nice people to let you guys use for free.

@JamesHxstatic My son had movie people to ask if they could use his house for a scene in a movie. He had doubts about but finally said yes, but by that time they'd found another place. He regretted it because they were going to pay him quiet a bit.

I wonder what an actor has to learn to do, when I watch those syfy shows I like I always wonder how those actors can be so convincing.

It is nice of the house owner to do so.I can imagine how you ordered people about by gesture as a mafia don there .
