A very frustrating day at the hospital.

Today I could not have my appointment with the doctor. After all the long trip to the hospital, the irritating seeking of the papers at the health insurance, they finally took my blood tests and I could go for a cup of coffee and some cookies.
Then I went to the doctor but the secretary told me that the place where they took the tests had called telling that they had to take the exams all over again. That meant of course going again to the hospital with no breakfast and do everything all over again
The girl said not to worry, "just come and you don´t have to wait for your turn". As if going from one part of the city to the other (over half an hour trip)was nothing.
Anyway we went to the farmers market with Leticia, but we could not buy all we wanted. It had gotten very late.
I don´t know whether I´ll go again on Friday or next Monday (the doctor is there those days) but I wanted to get over it all.
This is a big rant.

It sounds really annoying. It happens to us from time to time. Don't let these control your emotions, find something happy and cheer up.

I´m very irritated although I just had a nice after lunch nap. But it is very difficult for me to be calm when I go for these tests and trip to the oncologist. I´m always afraid that cancer is back.

@marguicha Don't be angry, my dear friend, it is absolutely not good for our health to be angry.

Yes. Not only I wasted my time, but every time I go to see the oncologist I get anxious until she says it will be fine for some more months. Cancer is not a nice partner

@marguicha I totally understand. I have anxiety in general so I get worked up about some things like doctor's visits.

It's not only a waste of time but also the fasting and pricking all over again, really frustrating

They do. And it is time, money and emotional energy.

With blood tests it is different as the lab will say if it is ok or not.

@marguicha yes. But this is the first time I heard that they have to redo the tests. I usualky have an annual test but have never experience it

That is stressful and can make you feel as if your entire day is wasted.

That´s how I felt when I came back. I´m just begining to feel better after watching the final chapter of the serial "Picasso".

They did. They were sorry, but they did not pay me back my taxi fare nor my time

Wasted time, wasted money and a lot of anxiety spent for nothing.
