Rugs

I wish we had hard wood floors. We have old, worn out rugs in a hideous grey color. I recently got them shampooed. They look so much better. I wish I could get them cleaned about every 4-6 months but usually end up getting them done annually. It's expensive! How often do you do your rugs?

I´m about to install a second hand rug on my bedroom floor. It is almost new and it was my brother´s. I have old rugs upstairs, but I haven´t reached the upstairs remodeling yet. Just changing the rugs by floating floor would be quite expensive.

I have hardwood floors throughout the house so no shampooing needed. I gave up having rugs when I moved here

Do you not have outlets that hire out the cleaning machine? You can do it as often as you like then and far cheaper apart from the physical effort that is!

Hard floors are so much easier to care for. The rug in this apartment is so old the cleaning guy had me sign a paper so he was not responsible for it if it fell apart.

The carpets I have need shampooing in the worst way. I plan to shampoo next month, especially the one in my living room.
