First I could not have gotten all of the fence cleaned if it had not been for Tony`s help, he used his electric trimmer and I used the loppers, Tony sat down and did it slow and for three hours. I did 1/3 that did not have any poison oak around. I also picked 1/2 gallon of blackberries. I have them simmering now to make jelly. I washed Roscoe twice, he was so nice and clean, then h wallowed in the dirt, Not clean anymore but smells better! And I made soap, This time I made orange scented, 10 bars. For dinner we ate from the stockpile. Butter beans, Kale, beets and cornbread. Slice pickled peppers on the side. In just a bit I will try to get the cost of each bar of soap, so when I open up the store I will know what the price should be. What site should I use to make my store online? Anyone got a store online? I am not doing Etsy, been there done that.

Hi Andria. Yey! Finally. So happy for you. I made a website but it is a free one. We have local shopping apps here where I post my products.

Been there, done that, got the tshirt? I don't know of many others. There was one with the name Scott in it, I don't know if it's any good. Some people use facebook to sell that kind of stuff. I believe amazon even has a homemade / handmade part to it now. There is society6, but I don't think it's for handmade / homemade items. Uhm.. I don't know but whatever you decide, please post the link on your profile and let me know. I'd like to check it out and buy from you if I have money at the time. This is going to be of a long reply so I do apologize. Are you going to burn the area around the fence to try to prevent weeds and briars? I love kale, but not a big fan of butter beans. I have had beets I am sure, but I am not sure I like them. Everyone loves cornbread don't they? I prefer it with pintos, ham and spinach.

@andriaperry A domain is another option. Something else just popped into my head. These two words popped into my head and I searched for them "Big Cartel".. Yup, it's a platform for "artists". Check it out and see if it's a good fit for you. Why didn't you stay on etsy if you don't mind me asking?

@ScribbledAdNauseum I put Tony`s work up and worked the site like I was supposed to and h did not gt any sales, but I still paid for it to stay there so he told me to let it go, he sells more without a web site!

I can't think of online store in the US. How about on your blog and share it on social media.

A personal site to create an online store costs money. The existing ones are not exactly what you expect they are. I have tried Etsy and did not like. My husband is thinking to create an online store, it's taking more time than he thought.

@andriaperry I fully agree. At least you can post as many items as you like and create as many pages as you want.

Yes I know it`ll cost but if I don`t sell anything then it won`t be for the lack of trying. Etsy charged for each item to be posted, with doing it yourself you can put as much as you want, with as many pictures as you want. I will get a site up, but only after I have made enough stuff to list. Its all in the beginning stages for me.

I think there is one called shophandmade but I am not sure. I know it is free. I know @Marsha32 has used it and @nonersays is talking about using it. Do keep us posted. Orange scented soap sounds heavenly. I hope one of the tagged ladies will come in and give you a link.

I recently took my listings down at shophandmade. I actually had forgotten about it. The only order I ever got there was from Adam's aunt. I know it's free, but it doesn't do much good if your stuff just sits there and doesn't sell, so I'm sticking with Etsy despite the fees.

I'm not sure how zibbett works now. Last I knew, you now have to pay in order to have more than like 3 listings up. But, I also had 0 luck selling anything there either. Not sure what your bad experience was with Etsy?

It must be nice to have products sold online. Though, there are a lot of fake buyers though as well as fake sellers.

Glad you got the fence done. BAD DOGGIE !!!!! lol Mine do that too if I let them out while they are wet. Check into amazon, they have a homemade section now. I signed up but have not listed anything there.
